we are so proud to be sponsoring the leeds school of animal care and land management – and even prouder to be able to get involved ourselves!
last week two of our lovely people went down to the school to learn about the positive impact of bees on our environment – and how we can get involved in supporting the college’s mission.
the whole office is buzzing! (sorry, we had to…)
more updates to come on this soon…
in the meantime, here’s some pics of Beth and Leroy learning about beekeeping🤣
the secret’s out!
what an absolute honour to be finalists for such a prestigious award.
thank you Sign & Wrap Awards, see you on the 26th!! 🧡
last week we had the pleasure of touring the cross green recycling and energy recovery facility! ♻🌍🌿
it’s always nice – and also a little unusual in an industrial estate – to have such interesting architecture right on your doorstep, and so much green with europe’s largest living wall on the side of the building!
through recycling and reducing landfill they are able to create enough energy to heat 20,000 homes a year across leeds, as well as increasing biodiversity via the wall. processing 175,000 tonnes of waste is no mean feat, and we are feeling super inspired by what we learned during our tour.
we are also very excited to be a part of their bee project! the rerf houses 60,000 bees, and we are looking forward to being able to support them in this project to slow down the population decline.
with our newfound, deeper understanding of our recycling journey, we will continue to recycle and search for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint. for now, enjoy these snaps of us all pretending not to be scared of heights or the giant claw.
thanks cross green rerf! 💚
this monday we raised £152 for mind! 🧠🌟
the third Monday of each month is known as the most miserable of the year, so to combat this we supported mind by wearing brightly coloured clothing to show that any given day can be good or bad – and that’s okay!
leeds mind supports their local communities by aiding understanding on access to resources and how to live independently with mental health conditions.
1 in 4 people in the UK alone experience a mental health problem each year, which means it’s pretty much guaranteed that this includes either you or someone you care about – whether you are aware of it or not. this is why this cause is so important to us!
thanks mind for all you do ❤
this week we have completed our last asda express of 2023 – and what a year it’s been.
we’ve had 5 major projects on the go this year, along with other on going works, mini roll-outs and maintenance – and we’ve enjoyed every minute!
we’ve had the pleasure of converting the recently acquired eg and spar sites into asda expresses, as well as co op petrol filling station sites, opening brand new asda express stores, and the sign & decoration and store enhancements programmes.
the works have included a mixture of internal and external signage, with a wide variety of elements brought together to achieve the overall branding aesthetic. from new fascias with individual illuminated letters, to stanchion signage and deck lighting, we’ve covered a lot of ground!
Take a look at some of the work we’ve done…
