Omega Signs have won the Asda supplier of the year at their Remodel Programme End of Year Awards Ceremony. This is a fantastic achievement and is testament to all the hard work that the Omega team have undertaken over the last year with Asda.
Duncan Chapman Managing Director said, “We are delighted to receive this award. We put customer service and project delivery at the forefront of everything we do so it is great to know that we are delivering to the high standards that we set ourselves. I am really proud of all the team, particularly Richard Tonks who has been absolutely key in delivering this year’s Internal Programme. ”
The event, which was held in Leeds, was for all the key people responsible for delivering the Asda Remodel Programme including Main Contractors; Site Managers; Consultants; Equipment suppliers ; Architects and Shop fitters so Omega were up against some stiff competition. Matt King, Senior Project Manager for Asda at Omega Signs said, “Over the years we have had to rise to a number of challenges to meet the changing needs of Asda and this year was no different. Whilst it can be demanding at times we have always managed to meet those challenges head on and, although it is nice to win awards, we have always taken great satisfaction from a job well done. ”
Over and above the core work this year, Omega have been involved in designing ground breaking signage for two major new concept stores and providing alternative graphic solutions for the Restaurant, Pharmacy and Optician area at short notice. Both showed Omega’s talent for adopting an innovative approach to solutions and being able to work to tight timescales when a project demands it.
