One Over The Ait

With a relationship that spans over 20 years Omega were delighted to be involved in Fullers refurbishment of the One over the Ait development.

Established in 1992 Omega Signs has built an enviable reputation for providing quality corporate signage solutions and is today one of the UK’s leading signage companies. Its sister company inn-fresco supply and install a range of design led outdoor solution products to create innovative and bespoke exterior areas.

Combining these two complimentary skills Omega and inn-fresco were able to offer a fully integrated approach to the external appearance of One Over the Ait.

 

Fuller’s is a well-known brand acknowledged for producing some of the best beers in the world. Maintaining these high levels of quality and service is a real source of pride and this is reflected in the strong branding and iconic golden griffin. Over the years Omega Signs have been tasked with ensuring that these high standards are maintained with all their signage and the One Over the Ait development was no exception. The brief was a complicated one as the building is quite contemporary but it was important to develop an external scheme that reflected the quality and tradition of the Fullers brand. Omega therefore utilised traditional techniques such as 23 ½ ct gold leaf and specialist sign writing.

Combined with modern, contemporary branded awnings these elements delivered the perfect external scheme.

Inn-fresco, Omega’s sister company, were also appointed to provide an attractive and stylish outdoor area to exploit the pub’s spectacular views of the River Thames and ensure customers utilised fully the external space. Following several site meetings and 3D visuals, it was agreed that the best solution was to install the 5010 cassetted awning, which is elegant in design and fitted with the contemporary look and feel of the building. Despite its slender shape, the 5010 product is one of the sturdiest and most robust awnings on the market boasting all the latest features from integrated guttering, to radio-controlled motor operation and folding arms, fully protected by the cassette. A total of 6 awnings were fitted with the One Over the Ait logo displayed on the valance of two of the awnings.

The key issue was fixing the awnings to the reinforced concrete beams.
